Buraidah Maternity and Children Hospital, a member of Qassim Health Cluster, organized an awareness booth in the Outpatient Clinics Hall titled “The Importance of Ultrasound in Monitoring Gestational Diabetes” as part of its ongoing efforts to promote health awareness and enhance pregnant women’s understanding of the importance of regular prenatal follow-up.
The hospital explained that the awareness initiative aims to highlight the vital role of ultrasound examinations in monitoring fetal growth and assessing fetal well-being, particularly for pregnant women with gestational diabetes. These examinations contribute to the early detection of potential complications and support timely and appropriate medical decision-making.
The booth featured educational materials, awareness messages, and health guidance emphasizing the importance of adhering to regular medical follow-up appointments and the recommended treatment plan. It also introduced the key health indicators that require close monitoring throughout pregnancy.
In addition, the booth provided beneficiaries with the opportunity to ask questions and receive health education directly from specialists, reflecting the hospital’s commitment to promoting preventive care and improving maternal and fetal health outcomes, in line with the objectives of Qassim Health Cluster to enhance healthcare quality and elevate the patient experience.
