Al Methnab General Hospital implemented the "Request Smartly" initiative, organized by the Inventory Control Department, with the aim of raising awareness among hospital staff about the importance of rationalizing requests for medical and non-medical supplies and promoting the optimal use of resources to improve inventory management efficiency and ensure the sustainability of essential supplies.
The initiative was attended by the Director of Al Methnab General Hospital, Pharmacist\ Abdullah bin Saadoun Al-Rashidi
who visited the awareness booth and reviewed the educational brochures and awareness materials highlighting best practices for requesting supplies and promoting responsible resource utilization.
The initiative aimed to promote a culture of efficient resource utilization, reduce unnecessary waste, and increase awareness of the importance of proper planning when requesting supplies, contributing to improved operational efficiency and the quality of healthcare services provided.
This initiative comes as part of the awareness programs implemented by the Inventory Control Department at Al Methnab General Hospital to strengthen inventory management practices, promote resource conservation, and encourage the optimal use of available resources.
